Sparring remains a core component of our program, adjusted to match your comfort and intensity level. Our approach caters to your experience, ensuring a suitable challenge that promotes fitness and enjoyment without risk of injury.
To ensure safety and ease of movement during our wrestling sessions, participants are required to train barefoot and wear a t-shirt or a rashguard, ensuring attire does not contain zippers or metal that would scratch the training mats.

YOUR INSTRUCTOR: JORDAN LASTER
JORDAN LASTER is a highly experienced and dedicated wrestling instructor at Theory Jiu-Jitsu Studio. With a 13 year background in competitive wrestling, including at the Division 1 level in college, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the mat.
Driven by a passion for nurturing talent and creating a supportive training environment, his mission is to offer students of all levels a dedicated space to start or continue training beyond high school and college. His primary objective is to help each student improve their wrestling, while ensuring an enjoyable experience and a rewarding workout.
Jordan brings a distinguished collegiate career to the table, having qualified for the NCAA Division I tournament three times during his time at Princeton University. His commitment to personal growth extends beyond wrestling, as he also has a blue belt in jiu-jitsu.
Outside the wrestling arena, Jordan cherishes quality time spent with friends and family. You can also find him in the gym and building web applications in his spare time.
